Errata: Microlichens of the Pacific Northwest. Volume 1, Keys to the Genera
Please check here in the future and please feel free to contact me to contribute corrections.
p.92, Fellhanera: insert after "twigs": ", ericaceous foliage, and other substrates" (See vol. 2 for more complete info)
p.121, Varicellaria photo, lower left, color is off, will appear yellower than this under UV in real life.
p. 122, lead 8a. Insert under Trapelia corticola: "Biatora vacciniicola also keys here. It has punctiform to coalescing pale soralia and occurs on subalpine shrubs and smooth conifer bark."
p. 130, lead 9a. Insert under Biatora vaciniicola, "[Although this species contains gyrophoric acid, it can be C- if in low concentrations.]"
p.144, couplet 18. Strike out first phrase on the structure of the upper cortex. This perpetuates an error in earlier publications. Plaicidum often has a strongly columnar upper cortex, while that in Catapyrenium is sometimes columnar. The character does not appear to be reliable to separate the genera.
p. 148, 2nd lead 37b should be 38b.
p. 150, lead 41b should be 42b.
