page 50, lead10a, Pseudobraunia is misplaced. It has an exserted capsule but is keyed under the immersed capsule lead 8a. Fix this by drawing an arrow from Pseudobraunia entry down to lead 14a. Also insert couplet at 14a:
14a Leaves usually < 2 mm long; plants green to yellowish green or reddish
xa Plants reddish brown or somewhat greenish, forming mats on exposed to somewhat sheltered rock... Pseudobraunia californica
xb Plants green to yellowish green, forming deep soft cushions on steep, often overhanging rock... Grimmia torquata
page 60, lead 7a, Leptobryum pyriforme. After "Stems to about 1 cm high", insert "or taller when growing in a greenhouse"
page 76, you might find it helpful to pencil in the margin the spore dimensions for the three species, because they differ a lot:
spores 15-22 um Orthotrichum speciosum
spores 25-38 um Orthotrichum lyellii
spores 12-17 um Orthotrichum affine
